Oreo Marshmallow Rice Krispies

Oreo Marshmallow Rice Krispies

So Much Oreo

There’s usually some sort of Oreo dish when we have a party. Hubster loves them to death. I figured I’d work on something fairly simple since a lot was going on. Rice Krispies sound good to me. I mean seriously, when aren’t they?

Running to the store, I picked up an extra large pack of Oreos (I have to fight to keep the necessary amount of ingredients while Hubster eats away at them)  and the Rice Krispies.

They were quick to make as always, however, I wish I had taken the time to remove the cream from the Oreos. A lot of people love the cream in Oreos– to some it’s the only reason they like Oreos, but I prefer the chocolate cookie.

The dish was good, but the overall flavor tasted too much like the cream and not enough cookie. If you love the cream, please, by all means keep it in. If you’re like me and love the cookie more, take the time to scrape the cream out.

Recipe after the jump.
